Blokmapping (2009-now) Information, history and people seem to be becoming increasingly detached from a particular place, and yet all the same, as in the past, they still form the place in which we meet one another.
What is place today at a time when everything seems to be connected with everything elseand at the same time separated from it? What are we to do with the flood of (digital) information that comes at us?
Blokmapping is an archive in which information about a particular place is collected. As their research area (block mapping area) the artists chose their own living environment within a radius of 333 metres.
